Thoughts from a Tennis Court

Playing tennis with the old man I got thinking.... you know I just had so much clarity in the gorgeous cape surroundings.
I just let go of winning, of getting the ball in. It's not that i thought of losing so much, winning was no longer the sole objective driving me. Being completely present, not thinking helped immesely. The relief was immense. Just watching my inner state helped so much. It was all good.
Later I began to ponder about the game being more against yourself than any flesh and blood opponent on the other side of the court or even next to you on the racetrack. You are the one that makes your opponent into what they are, your belief in certain aspects about them. You can choose to belief what you will. I think those choices should be based on truth, not what you hear from others or start think about internally. What you see and experience make up your reality
Haha, this feels pretty lame writing this stuff down now. But as huna says, effectiveness is the measure of truth. Ultimately this means that the headspace that is the most effective will be the best choice- effective for the long run. Though is no one correct, all powerful and mighty frame. It is totally situation dependent. So be aware of your inner feelings and thoughts and see down which path they lead you. Keep them under control by nudging them in the right direction, when you are feeling overwhelmed by an emotion or feeling; let it radiate throughout your being. It will quickly be reigned into control and you can continue from there. Aweh

So, I've decided to start a blog...

So, I've decided to start a blog. I am doing this as a record of my thoughts and interactions with life in general. So you may ask, why not write all this stuff down in a book. Well, books get lost and i'm over losing stuff- at least i know with this weblog i have some backup somewhere in the World to look after my oh-so-precious words. The great thing is you can access it from anywhere... so i'll never be bored. GREAT SUCCESS! Onwards and upwards... so lets start writing, yeah!
